IMEX wood screws in No. 8 by 1 inch size are designed for fine wood fastening tasks where shorter penetration is needed without sacrificing grip strength. Each screw features a square drive for reduced cam out, a flat head with nibs for reliable countersinking, and a Type 17 point that enables fast starts without pre drilling. The coarse thread holds securely in softwood MDF and particle board while the zinc coating adds light corrosion resistance. Packaged in a 500 count box these screws are perfect for workshop use cabinetry installation and fine carpentry.
